W.I.N. (WHAT I NEED) Literacy Tutoring By An Experienced, Licensed Teacher
Specializing in DYSLEXIA, DYSGRAPHIA, ADHD, and other LEARNING NEEDS.
Specializing in DYSLEXIA, DYSGRAPHIA, ADHD, and other LEARNING NEEDS.
At W.I.N. Literacy + Learning Services, I guide students as a learning coach—helping them set goals, celebrate small wins, and build the solid literacy foundation they need for lifelong success. Every child deserves to feel capable and supported, and every parent deserves to see their child thrive.
At W.I.N. Literacy + Learning Services, my mission is simple: to help students believe in themselves again while building a strong foundation in learning.
Every child has unique strengths, and every challenge has a root cause. As a learning coach, I work to uncover those causes and create a personalized path forward—one that builds strong reading and literacy skills while also restoring confidence and joy in learning.
No cookie-cutter lessons. Every session is tailored to your child’s specific needs, goals, and learning style.
At W.I.N., every session is tailored to your child’s specific needs, learning style, and pace. Whether your child struggles with dyslexia, handwriting, spelling, or organization, lessons are designed to target their unique challenges while building on strengths.
Parents see the difference when their child finally gets instruction that truly “fits.”
Students celebrate small wins, shift their mindset from “I can’t” to “I can,” and begin to view themselves as capable learners.
Struggling learners often say “I can’t” before they even try.
At W.I.N., I celebrate every small win and help students recognize their progress. As confidence grows, their mindset shifts—from avoidance and discouragement to curiosity and determination. This renewed self-belief often carries over into other subjects and even outside the classroom.
After viewing a recorded session, one child’s physician urged the family: “Keep working with her.”
Why? Because doctors understand that literacy is foundational to a child’s overall development—impacting not only academic success, but also confidence, social-emotional growth, and future opportunities.
This physician saw firsthand that the right support was offered to this child, and progress was happening where it mattered most.
With nearly 30 years of experience across homeschool, daycare, private, charter, public school, and home-based settings, I bring both depth and versatility to every session.
I incorporate specialized approaches, such as Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, Handwriting Without Tears, Step-Up-to-Writing, and more—all designed to help struggling learners succeed.
Parents see tangible growth in their child’s skills, confidence, and independence.
But it’s not just parents who notice progress—teachers do, too. From improved reading fluency and clearer writing to better organization and grades, growth is visible in the classroom. Some teachers even ask parents: “What are you doing differently at home?”
At W.I.N., I am committed to offering personalized, private teaching that focuses on reading and writing, and foundational math skills.
My goal is to help students build essential skills and achieve their full academic potential.
Together, we’ll empower learners to succeed not only in school, but in life.
At W.I.N., students don’t just catch up—they move forward with confidence, joy, and the tools they need to thrive.
As a licensed educator specializing in literacy, I integrate research-based programs such as Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, Handwriting Without Tears, Step-Up-to-Writing, and AVID. My approach is especially supportive for neurodivergent learners, including those with dyslexia and dysgraphia.
